Ceremony Marks U.S. Return to UNESCO

Laura Bush presided over a flag-raising ceremony at the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization in Paris on Monday. The ceremony fulfilled President Bush's 2002 promise to rejoin the organization after the U.S. withdrew nearly two decades ago. The departure came after American charges of mismanagement and anti-Western bias.
