Remembering Cartoonist William Steig
Cartoonist and author William Steig died this week at the age of 95. He produced darkly witty characters that appealed to adults, and later more than 20 children's books, including Sylvester and the Magic Pebble. NPR's Steve Inskeep offers a remembrance.
