Kansas City an Island in Sea of Housing Woes

The housing market in Kansas City is more stable than what you might find on either coast — and more affordable. Real estate agent Judy Johns offers a tour of a house — and a glimps of the Midwest housing market.

The three-bedroom home tucked away in a nice neighborhood would cost more than $1 million in Los Angeles or Washington. In Kansas City, the home is priced below $300,000.
