Schwarzenegger Faces Battle over Car Tax

Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger's first political battle may be over his pledge to rescind a hike in the state's car tax. Democratic lawmakers want to leave the tax intact. Reducing the tax would add roughly $12 billion to the state's budget deficit. NPR's Carrie Kahn reports.
