Census: More Grandparents Raising Children

Census figures released Thursday show that 2.5 million grandparents are the primary care-givers for their grandchildren. Nearly 20 percent of the grandparents pitching in are below the poverty line, and many face difficulties because they lack legal custody. NPR's Ari Shapiro reports.
