National Impact of Los Angeles-Area Strikes

Labor strikes on three different fronts are taking a toll on the greater Los Angeles area, and many outside of California are talking about a potential ripple effect. NPR's Tavis Smiley discusses the local impact with Rachael Myrow, a reporter for KPCC 89.3 in Los Angeles, and the national ramifications with Erwin Chemerinsky, professor of law and political science at the University of Southern California, and Andy Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union in Washington, D.C.
