Singer-songwriter Elliott Smith died Tuesday at his Los Angeles apartment in an apparent suicide. The 34-year-old musician was known for fragile, haunting melodies that made him a star on the indie music scene, earning him comparisons to Nick Drake and Neil Young. We listen to one of Smith's songs in remembrance.
