IRS Punishes Reparations Filers
The IRS cracks down on the tactic of filing slave-reparation claims in federal tax returns. Thursday in Virginia, a woman was sentenced to just over three years in prison for filing a tax return that resulted in her receiving a $500,000 refund. Her father, who prepared her tax forms, was sentenced to 13 years. NPR's Allison Aubrey reports.
