Forty years after the U.S. imposed an embargo on Cuba, the island nation still looms large in American politics. Black Americans are among the most outspoken opponents of the hard-line U.S policy and want an end to the embargo. This angers many who believe that democracy can only be achieved by isolating Fidel Castro's Cuba.
