Cotton Magnate J.G. Boswell, 'The King of California'

You may never have heard of him, but J. G. Boswell controls the largest cotton farming empire in America. NPR's Tony Cox talks with Mark Arax, one of the authors of The King of California: J. G. Boswell and the Making of a Secret American Empire, which details how the Boswell family moved to California from Georgia in the 1800s and came to dominate the cotton industry.
