Jimmy Carter Fights Back in Darfur Exchange
Former President Jimmy Carter was involved in a tense verbal exchange Wednesday in Sudan.
He was traveling in Darfur as part of a delegation trying to gather information about the conflict that has left more than 200,000 people dead and more than 2 million displaced.
The exchange occurred when Carter was told he was not allowed to meet a tribal elder.
Meanwhile, refugees passed notes to the delegation, telling of how they have been raped by men aligned with government forces.
