Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's project, the Allen Telescope Array, goes online Thursday. The telescope will help astronomers better understand the universe, dark matter and maybe — just maybe — find extraterrestrial life. Paul Allen speaks with Alex Chadwick about his effort to create the most powerful radio telescope in the history of astronomy.
