Phone Number 'Portability' Law Takes Effect

Starting Monday, cell phone users will be able to keep their phone numbers even if they switch wireless service carriers. But some wireless service providers worry the new federal "number portability" rules will cause a flurry of customer defections. Hear NPR's Scott Horsley.
