National American Indian Heritage Month

The Tavis Smiley Show marks National American Indian Heritage Month with a conversation with Beverly Wright, chairperson of the Wampanoag Tribe on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, and actor and activist Russell Means, best known as one of the leaders of the Indian takeover of the Wounded Knee reservation in 1973. Means and Wright reflect on the issues that trouble tribal communities.
