Troops Use Technology to Talk with Loved Ones Back Home

NPR's Adam Hochberg reports that U.S. troops stationed overseas are using new technologies to stay in touch with their loved ones in the United States. Through the use of e-mail, satellite phones and other high-tech gear, military personnel are finding it easier to communicate with their families — even from war zones.
