Report: U.S. Steel Tariffs Poised to End

President Bush is reportedly set to lift a controversial tariff he imposed against foreign steel 20 months ago, bowing to international pressure and avoiding a potential trade war with the European Union. But no announcement is likely before the president has attended fundraisers and other previously planned events in the heart of U.S. steel country. NPR's Don Gonyea reports.
