Florida Lawmakers Urge Bush to Pass Water Bill

President Bush has promised to veto a water resources bill passed by the House and Senate, but because it contains funding to restore the Everglades, the Republican governor of Florida and the state's Republican senator have sent the president letters asking him not to veto it.

The state's Democratic senator and Democratic members of its House delegation have sent similar letters to the president.
