Rumsfeld Visits Troops in Kirkuk

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld makes an unnanounced stop in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk on his way to a Baghdad visit, breakfasting with U.S. troops. The general in command of north-central Iraq told Rumsfeld that recent military operations have reduced attacks on American forces there. Hear NPR's Ivan Watson.
