Richie Havens' distinctive voice first became famous after his performance at the 1969 Woodstock festival, during which he played to repeat ovations. His career was re-ignited in 2000 when he re-activated his record label and was presented with a host of new collaborative projects.

Richie Havens is currently touring through November in support of his latest CD, Grace of the Sun. The disc features covers of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" and Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock." Hear his live performance — and his take on current summer concerts.
