Former Illinois Gov. Ryan Indicted

A federal grand jury indicts former Illinois governor George Ryan on corruption charges. The 22-count indictment accuses Ryan, a Republican, of steering important state contracts to friends and family members. As governor, Ryan made history by clearing the state's death row. NPR's David Schaper reports.
