Sharon Threatens Split from Palestinians

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Thursday that unless Palestinians move forward on a negotiated peace, Israel will initiate the unilateral "security step of disengagement" from the Palestinians. Sharon's remarks draw criticism from Jewish settler groups, Palestinian leaders and the Bush administration. Hear NPR's Peter Kenyon.
