The Bush administration is advising Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon against any unilateral steps in the conflict with the Palestinians. On Thursday, Sharon warned that Israel will pull out of parts of the occupied territories and accelerate construction of a security barrier in the West Bank unless it sees progress toward peace with the Palestinians. NPR's Michele Kelemen reports.
