Enriched Uranium Seized in Bulgaria

The United States, Russia and Bulgaria work with the International Atomic Energy Agency in a secret operation to remove highly enriched uranium from a research facility in Bulgaria. Security experts say an estimated 20 uranium storage facilities in Eastern Europe are not adequately protected; officials worry that terrorists could steal the fissile material. NPR's Michele Kelemen reports.
