GM Bets Big on China

General Motors announces big plans to open a second research center in Shanghai. It's part of a $250 million corporate campus there. While GM is struggling to get a competitive edge in the U.S., sales in China are soaring. That country is now GM's second largest market. GM expects to sell a million vehicles in China this year; and next year, it plans to introduce a hybrid gasoline-electric vehicle in China.
