The federal government announced Tuesday its intentions to ban dietary supplements containing ephedra early next year. It's advising consumers to stop using them at once. The weight-loss stimulants have been linked to more than 150 deaths. NPR's Tony Cox talks to William Hubbard, the associate commissioner for policy with the FDA.
