If nothing else, technology can inspire us all to improve our personal hygiene. An Australian lawmaker was sitting absentmindedly in the chamber. He picked his earwax, and apparently ate it. We know this because the 6-year-old footage recently surfaced on YouTube.com. The footage made Kevin Rudd a worldwide celebrity. He was mocked by Jay Leno — just as he was the leading candidate to become Australia's next prime minister.
