While NASA's Mars Exploration Rover, called Spirit, sends pictures and data from the surface of the red planet, British scientists continue to search for the missing Beagle 2 probe. The Beagle 2 landed on Mars Dec. 25. Scientists have yet to detect a signal; the European Space Agency admits hopes of contacting the craft are fading. Hear NPR's Joe Palca.
