With the Iowa caucuses less than 10 days distant, former Vermont governor Howard Dean gets a key endorsement from Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa. Seven of the nine Democratic presidential candidates are taking part in the caucuses. The outcome in Iowa is particularly vital to U.S. Rep. Richard Gephardt of Missouri.
