Braun Ends Candidacy, Supports Dean

Former Sen. Carol Mosley Braun ends her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination, narrowing the field to eight candidates. At a news conference in Carroll, Iowa, Braun, a former senator from Illinois and former ambassador to New Zealand, said she lacked both name-recognition and funds. Braun called for her supporters to back former Gov. Howard Dean. Hear NPR's Nancy Marshall.
