Braun Withdraws; Iowa Race Heats Up

Former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun ends her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination, narrowing the field to eight candidates. At a news conference in Carroll, Iowa, Braun threw her support behind former Gov. Howard Dean. The battle for Iowa appears to be tightening. Hear NPR's Michele Norris and NPR's John McChesney.
