National Black Arts Festival Stephanie Hughley is the narrator in Joseph Schwantner's "New Morning for the World" (Daybreak of Freedom), set to texts from speeches and writings by Dr. King. The piece has been described as "by turns luminous, tragic, heroic and visionary — as varied as the words it honors." Robert Spano conducts the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
