Rumsfeld Pressured to Expand Military

As Congress reconvenes, Republican and Democratic lawmakers are expected to renew calls for expanding the U.S. armed forces. Supporters say troop rotations in Iraq and Afghanistan make the move necessary. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says there are ways to ease the burden on troops without a permanent force expansion. NPR's Eric Westervelt reports.
