Candy Stores Close in Chicago
Chicago's venerable Fannie May candy shops are closing, and that has longtime customers stocking up on treats from the stores. The move is part of the Archibald Corporation's sale of the Fannie May and Fannie Farmer brands to Utah's Alpine Confections; Fannie May's manufacturing plant shut down last week.
