Agencies Flee Turmoil in Kandahar
A surge in violence in Kandahar, the main city in southern Afghanistan, leads to the departure of many non-governmental aid and relief groups. Observers say the violence, blamed on anti-government insurgents, has left one of the least developed parts of the country lacking the expertise of reconstruction experts. NPR's Guy Raz reports.
