Thursday night's debate among the Democratic presidential candidates in New Hampshire is pivotal for former Vermont governor Howard Dean, who's seen his support in the state erode, and retired general Wesley Clark. Clark, who skipped the Iowa caucuses, faces a strong challenge from Iowa winner Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts. Clark and Kerry will vie for support among veterans. Hear NPR's Robert Smith.
