text sizeAAA
November 8, 2007

A group of NGOs has been studying the level of toxic chemicals found in the average American's body — and they are releasing their results on Thursday. Elaine Nekritz, state representative from Illinois, talks to Madeleine Brand about her participation in the study.

Sharyle Patton, director of Commonweal's Health and Environment Program, which is one of the NGOs conducting the study, talks to Alex Chadwick about the study.

Then journalist and author David Ropeik tells Chadwick about how concerned people should be about these findings.
