This week, the Senate Finance Committee launched an investigation into the coffers of six so-called "mega churches."

The committee is investigating possible financial wrongdoing by six televangelists, including Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, Paula White and Eddie Long.

NPR's Tony Cox talks with ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), about the inquiry.
