Bob Mondello Film Review: 'Touching the Void'

The new film Touching the Void is a quasi-documentary about two British mountain climbers who had a near-fatal encounter with a Peruvian mountain peak in 1985. NPR's Bob Mondello says the picture qualifies as visceral filmmaking — buy it also plays tricks with form.
