Illinois Governor Seeks Control of School Board

Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich proposes taking over control of the state's education system in a bid to improve student performance. Under his plan, Blagojevich would shift control of Illinois schools from the state Board of Education to a new department reporting to him. Jay Field of Chicago Public Radio reports.
