New USDA Measures to Fight Mad Cow Spread

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration plans to introduce several new public health measures to protect Americans from exposure to the microscopic proteins that cause mad cow disease. NPR's Chris Joyce reports on today's announcement by Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson.
