The State of the Union: Listeners' Perspective

NPR's Tavis Smiley explores issues of paramount importance to ordinary Americans, in a segment we call "Listeners' State of the Union." He speaks to a Navy Reservist from Los Angeles, a born-again Christian in Detroit and a medical doctor in Houston. They share their concerns, anxieties and hopes for the nation.
