Students Blame FedEx for Missed Deadline
NPR's Melissa Block talks with Jason Seawright, a graduate student at the University of California at Berkeley, about a controversy over mail and the prestigious Fulbright scholarship program. Seawright is among the thirty students whose Fulbright applications were rejected because they arrived late at the U.S. Department of Education. The students missed the deadline because FedEx failed to pick up the package at the scheduled time.
