Sen. John Kerry won Wisconsin's primary by a much smaller margin than in previous contests, with Sen. John Edwards finishing a strong second. Voters who supported Edwards say they were drawn to his populist appeal. Former Howard Dean supporters who voted for his rivals say Dean's inability to win in previous contests swayed their votes.
