Senior news analyst NPR's Daniel Schorr reads an excerpt from his speech "America and the World," delivered at UCLA's Yitzhak Rabin Center on Feb. 4, 2004. The annual Daniel Pearl memorial lecture is given in memory of Daniel Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and killed in Karachi, Pakistan, in early 2002.
