Border Residents Craft an Appeal for More Security
While some people have welcomed increased border security measures, many of the millions who live along the U.S.-Mexico border feel as though they have no voice in decisions that affect them. They've gathered in El Paso, Texas, to figure out how to convince the nation that increased border security does not mean that the issues of human rights and trade are no longer important.
