Bush Favors Constitutional Ban on Gay Marriage

President George Bush announces he would actively support a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. The president said the move, requiring the approval of two-thirds of Congress and ratification by three-fourths of the states, is needed to protect the institution of marriage. NPR's Don Gonyea reports.
