Slate's Ad Report Card: The Quiznos Spongmonkeys
Slate contributor Seth Stevenson reviews a new television commercial for the Quiznos chain of sandwich shops. The ad features little creatures called "spongmonkeys," who sing the virtues of the chain restaurant's signature toasted sandwiches and pepper bar.
