Judge Dismisses Fraud Charge Against Stewart

A federal judge in New York throws out the most serious charge against Martha Stewart — securities fraud — citing insufficient evidence. The move comes as jurors prepare to begin deliberations next week. The other charges facing Stewart and her stockbroker, Peter Bacanovic, remain intact.
