Octavia Butler's 'Kindred' Turns 25

Octavia Butler is considered by many to be the preeminent African-American science-fiction/fantasy writer. Twenty-five years ago, Butler published her landmark book, Kindred. Reporter Allison Keyes talks with Butler about the novel, which examines attitudes about race, slavery and devotion to family.
