Woman Charged for Wiping Nose on Officer's Shirt

Consider this another sign that it might be flu season. A police officer in Dunbar, West Va., says he arrested a woman. He had just watched her slap a man, bite him, and spit in his face. He took her to the station but as they went inside, she allegedly wiped her nose on the back of his shirt. This did not make the officer, S.E. Elliott, especially happy. He filed an additional charge. The crime is "battery on a police officer."
